Hi guys, I’m just casting the next stone in our astrophysics vs biology skirmish. That xkcd comic was way too nice to theoretical physicists, so I’ve tweaked it a little.
Update: apparently the falling theoretical physics/maths stick figures in my original were too abstruse, so hopefully this version clears up the sarcasm:
Okay, so there’s too much text and it’s too crowded.
The original xkcd:

btw- If you think I’m being too mean to the social sciences then, (a) you’ve never had to read sociology journal articles, and (b) I didn’t make up the term “postmodern-ironist” – I found it on Wikipedia (Postmodern-ironist is a world view that sees truth as socially contructed, and is, of course, just as valid as that silly scientific-rational world view.). When I googled the term to see what came up, I found this hideous abstract for a paper in a real nursing journal applying postmodernism to the study of nursing. I’m not being treated in that hospital!

Nice work! I’d have assumed Postmodern ironists were those guys who de-wrinkle clothes while skydiving, so thanks for the heads-up.
Turn on helix is acceptable.
